We all have those days…or weeks. “Not Me” Monday was created by MckMama to give us an outlet to laugh at our own imperfections. Will you join me? When you are done here, you can head over to her blog and read about what everyone else has “not” been doing.

I am very practical, so it couldn’t have been me who made the decision to not purchase winter coats for my kids this year. While they have nice jackets, I did not decide that our southern winters were not long enough for me to justify buying winter coats. Therefore, it couldn’t have been me who had to layer jackets on my son in order to keep him warm at the park. Not me.
While in an office supply store this week, Samuel (4yo) did not come to us saying he thought maybe he had to go to the bathroom while curiously holding out his finger. Upon closer examination, I did not discover to my horror that there was a small amount of poo on his extended finger. After my husband and I gathered ourselves, Scott turned with Samuel to head towards the bathroom. As I followed behind them, I did not look down to see my son’s bare bottom completely exposed for the whole store to see. Nor did I know how long it had been like that. My children have a very clear understanding of what is proper, so that could never have been me. Nope.
And do you see this photoshoot? Can you guess where I took the pictures? Because I most certainly did not put Kaelynn fully dressed into an empty bathtub. That would just be odd and I would never go to such random lengths to take pictures where there is good lighting. Not me!
What did you not do this week?

THE BATHTUB! GENIUS! I was wondering what floor in your house would be that sparkling white… Not that your floor wouldn’t be clean, but a completely white surface doesn’t seem your style.

Haha! You’re right, white really isn’t my thing, although I’ve considered painting a room in my house white simply for photography purposes! We’ll see if I can actually bring myself to do it…
